At Little Scribblers Early Learning Centres, our mission is to ensure every child receives the best start to their educational journey. A cornerstone of this commitment is our bespoke School Readiness Program, designed to support a smooth, confident transition into primary school. This tailored curriculum blends the latest early childhood education practices with interactive learning tools to build core literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills.
One of the most exciting enhancements to our program in 2025 has been the integration of ABC Reading Eggs, a highly regarded and evidence-based literacy platform that supports early reading development through engaging, gamified learning experiences. Since rolling out Reading Eggs in February, our School Readiness curriculum now includes structured digital rotations where children practise phonics, sight words, sentence formation and comprehension through a fun, interactive format that perfectly complements our play-based philosophy.
By incorporating ABC Reading Eggs into our School Readiness curriculum, we’ve created a dual-delivery approach to literacy. In the classroom, educators use Reading Eggs as a diagnostic and progression tool, personalising each child’s learning journey. These digital lessons are then extended through tactile activities like storytime, phonics play, and guided writing, providing a holistic and immersive approach to literacy development.
To celebrate the launch, we distributed beautifully branded School Readiness books across all centres—featuring custom sticker branding to help children track their progress and celebrate milestones. We were proud to partner with Oz Sticker Printing to produce these high-quality, personalised materials. Their efficient service and premium finish helped bring this key part of our learning environment to life.
Families have already seen tangible outcomes: children showing greater confidence in letter recognition, storytelling, vocabulary and print awareness—all crucial indicators of school readiness. This bespoke integration of technology, play, and educator guidance reflects our commitment to quality early education and strong foundations for lifelong learning.
