We believe that children thrive when learning involves play, exploration, and meaningful connections. At Little Scribblers, our preschool curriculum for three to six-year-olds supports holistic development and strengthens the skills needed for starting primary school.
We blend inquiry-based learning with intentional teaching across various areas, including early literacy, numeracy, science, and the creative arts. Children enjoy hands-on experiences in STEAM, sport and physical education, dramatic play, and language-rich, fun activities. These are delivered in a small, close-knit environment that encourages confidence and curiosity.
Our educators work in close partnership with families, offering daily learning updates, term goals, and open communication to ensure parents feel informed and connected. With a focus on belonging, wellbeing, and independence, we empower every child to thrive in their final years before school.
Little Scribblers’ Ashfield location opened its doors in 2024, offering a modern, boutique learning environment created specifically for children in the years before school. With buses, trains, and Ashfield Aquatic Centre close by, it’s a convenient and trusted option for local families.
For children aged three to six, our preschool program offers a nurturing and community-focused environment led by long-standing educators. Through play-based learning, we foster literacy, numeracy, and readiness for school in a secure setting with open-ended experiences, a sandpit, and a dedicated outdoor playground. We celebrate each child’s individuality and help them grow as capable, confident learners.
At our Ashfield preschool, children learn in a bright and thoughtfully redesigned space that nurtures imagination, independence, and early learning skills. With dedicated learning rooms, outdoor play areas, and open-ended discovery zones, children are free to explore, create, and connect with others.
Our preschool is available Monday to Friday, delivering a school readiness program within a supportive long-day care setting. With hours from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, we offer the flexibility families need throughout the week.

We’re a CCS-approved preschool, which means eligible families may receive reduced daily costs. If you need help understanding or applying for the Child Care Subsidy, our friendly team is ready to assist.

At Little Scribblers, our preschoolers enjoy a dynamic curriculum enhanced by creative, cultural, and environmental experiences that build confidence and a love of learning.
Children participate in regular Chinese cultural classes and Mandarin language lessons that teach greetings, songs, and customs, fostering cultural awareness and diversity from a young age.
Our structured art classes offer preschoolers the chance to explore new techniques and express themselves through sculpture, painting, and mixed media projects. Their artworks are proudly displayed throughout the centre.
From composting to water conservation, our environment-focused sessions encourage preschoolers to become responsible citizens. They learn how their actions affect the world around them through hands-on gardening and recycling projects.
