The Little Scribblers Literacy Fest is designed to engage families, introduce young children to literacy-rich activities, and position Brighton-Le-Sands as a hub for early learning excellence.
The event is an opportunity for families with children aged 0-6 years to experience the power of play-based literacy learning. Through hands-on activities, live storytelling, and creative engagement, children will explore language, reading, and communication in a fun and interactive setting.
1. Special Guests & Read-Aloud Sessions
Storytelling sessions will bring books to life, making reading an exciting experience for young learners.
2. Interactive Mini Literacy Stations
Designed to immerse children in early literacy skills, these stations will include:
• Phonics & Letter Recognition – Hands-on activities to introduce letter sounds.
• Sensory Storytelling – Engaging children through touch, sound, and movement.
• Creative Writing Corner – Encouraging self-expression through drawing and storytelling.
3. Community Business Activation Zone
Local businesses will have promo stands and activities, giving families the opportunity to explore child-friendly services and educational resources in the Brighton-Le-Sands area.
4. Food Tasting by Kids Gourmet Food
Families can enjoy free samples from our partner, Kids Gourmet Food (KGF), known for providing nutritionally balanced meals at Little Scribblers childcare centres.
